Beam
Local-first presenter remote

Run your whole talk from your phone.

Beam projects your exported PDF fullscreen on the big screen and turns your phone into the remote — flip slides, draw on the live slide, spotlight a detail, glance at your speaker notes, and watch the clock. Everything stays on your own Wi‑Fi.

PAIR · PRESENT · ANNOTATE

Short clips of the real app. Replace the placeholders with your own recordings.

Everything a talk needs, nothing it doesn’t

Beam presents — it doesn’t author. That focus keeps it fast, private, and dead simple.

Why Beam exists

How to connect

Two devices, one Wi-Fi network, a short PIN. No sign-in, no pairing servers.

Get started

No app-store build yet — and you don't need one. Clone the repo and run ./beam: it sets up everything, starts the web, runs the desktop host, and installs the mobile remote straight to a connected phone. No store, no certificate.

git clone https://github.com/jacksonfdam/Beam.git
cd Beam
./beam

On any other device, just open the browser remote — no install at all.
